As Paul and I were walking out of the hotel yesterday, we ran into a group kids representing Joliet's B.P.A. They wanted to let everybody know about the party that they're putting on.

They are calling it "The largest school carnival in Montana". And I think they are right.

They will have rides from North Star Amusements, which include rides for adults as well as having kids' rides.

And since it's a carnival, there will also be a ring toss, duck pond, and face painting.

You'll also be able to buy hot dogs, funnel cakes, cotton candy, village kettle corn along with freshly-squeezed lemonade.

All of this is to help the Joliet B.P.A. kids raise money for a national conference in Dallas, Texas.

The date is Friday, April 22 at the Joliet High School. And it will run from 3 in the afternoon until 10:30 that night.

As I'm typing this, I can't help but remember how much more fun a fundraiser this is versus how we had to do it back when I was in school. I knocked on an awful lot of doors in my school days asking if you would be interested in buying some magazines, candy bars, or popcorn. This fundraiser sounds like quite a bit more fun. For us and them.

So, in addition to our fair that's here in August, now we get a bonus carnival. Plus it's helping Joliets B.P.A. kids. Who wouldn't want to do that?

Again it's Friday, April 22 at Joliet High School from 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
