Things not to miss at the Big Sky Country State Fair this week
They weren't messing around when they packed this year's Big Sky Country State Fair in Bozeman full of fun stuff. Duck races? I'm in.
What's great about our fair is that many of the shows and events happen several times throughout the week/weekend, so you're less likely to miss something fun. You can't be everywhere all the time, right?
If you've never been to the Big Sky Country State Fair in Bozeman, here's where you're headed: GALLATIN COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS (901 North Black Avenue).
All day, every day of the fair: Freckle Farm Petting Zoo. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of Freckle Farm Petting Zoo and I wish I could adopt him as my grandpa. He and his wife have been in the biz for FIFTY YEARS, and take much pride in what they do. Wonderful people doing wonderful things. (I'm sure they shut things down late in the day as things transition into night events and music, but the fair site isn't specific.)

The carnival opens at 1pm each day at the Big Sky Country State Fair, and don't forget there is a separate entry fee. Carnival wristband: $35. (That wristband allows you to ride all day for one price. Includes all rides and they are good for one day.)
We've only highlighted a few of the fun events you'll find at the fair this year. SEE A FULL SCHEDULE OF THE BIG SKY COUNTRY STATE FAIR HERE.
