Arntzen responded to an article in the Montana Free Press that criticized Arntzen’s failure to appear before the committee at a recent meeting to hear their complaints.

During the 12 years that Denny Rehberg represented the state of Montana in the U.S. House of Representatives, I had numerous opportunities to interview him both in person and on the phone, so it was a pleasure to renew that relationship on Monday afternoon.

With such a large majority of voters leaning red, it made me think about the last time Montana had a large blue majority. And, how many voters lean blue in the Treasure State?

Senator Cynthia Lummis recently spoke on the Senate floor to protest the manner in which financial aid to Ukraine was combined with the Biden Administration's Omnibus Bill.

"Joe Biden wants to give the IRS more power to spy on Americans," Barrasso said. "That's what he's asking for. Just listen to the testimony of his Secretary of Treasury who comes to congress and says she wants to look into the checking accounts, banking accounts of anybody with deposits or withdrawals $600. Republicans are committed to stopping this."

Barrasso said that the current state of the economy is due to the Biden Administration and the policies it has presented.

“The truth is clear: this is not President Biden’s recovery,” Barrasso said. “President Biden inherited three vaccines. President Biden inherited 2 million tests a day for coronavirus. President Biden inherited falling coronavirus numbers. He also inherited a recovering economy.”
