7 Arrested During Transurrection at the Montana Capitol

At least seven protestors were arrested after a mob of radical Left-wing activists were pounding on the doors of the House Chamber of the Montana State Capitol and disrupting the Democratic process. The staged event is similar to "transurrections" of unruly transgender activists that have targeted lawmakers in other statehouses across the country.

As KTVH-TV reports, seven were arrested following Monday's antics in Helena.

Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton told MTN seven people were arrested for criminal trespass after refusing to leave the gallery.

KTVH added that the Montana Highway Patrol, the Helena Police Department and the Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office Civil Disobedience Team all responded to the capitol.

The mob was demanding that the Montana House of Representatives "let her speak," referring to transgender lawmaker Rep. Zooey Zephyr (D-Missoula), a man who identifies as a woman. The Speaker of the House was not recognizing the lawmaker to speak until Rep. Zephyr apologized to the chamber for hateful remarks made last week on the floor.

Legislative Democrats, and Rep. Zephyr, were claiming that the Republican majority was taking away Rep. Zephyr's ability to represent his constituents.

Rep. Kerri Seekins-Crowe (R-Billings) made a great point. If Rep. Zephyr wants to represent his constituents, then why did Rep. Zephyr leave the House chamber and fail to vote?

Kerri Seekins-Crowe: You incite a riot on the floor of the MT House of Representatives because you state that your “voice” that represents 10,000 people is not heard. HOWEVER, you REFUSE to follow the established decorum that is demanded of the ENTIRE MT House of Representatives. Then you purposefully choose to leave the Chamber and not vote to represent 10,000 people??????? So unbelievably hypocritical and self serving.

The Republican House Majority condemned the mob attacking the Montana capitol on Monday, while legislative Democrats praised the protestors who were arrested.
