After hearing our coverage on the youth violence taking place in Montana, one Billings mom decided to share her heartbreaking and frustrating story. Her open letter is below.

BREAKING: A suspect has reportedly barricaded themselves in a residence on West Meadow Drive. King Ave West between 32nd and 36th is currently closed (as of 7:30 am Wednesday)

Law enforcement will be ramping up their presence at MontanaFair this year, largely in response to a shooting that injured one at the midway last year. BPD will be joining the YCSO in patrolling the grounds.

A Billings Police Officer is continuing to receive treatment at a local hospital after being shot by a suspect on Saturday morning, March 18th. This is now the second Montana police officer in two weeks to have been shot in the line of duty.
