Great Falls and Havre are right around the corner if you missed the Fusion Fights "Under the Lights" in Missoula, Montana.

What a backdrop in Missoula with a beautiful baseball field (home to the Paddleheads), the mountains in the background, and the Clark Fork River just past the outfield on a perfectly sunny, warm weekend in the garden city.

I got to take in the fights with the crew from Americans for Prosperity- Montana, who is sponsoring the Fusion Fights and sponsoring a statewide tour that I am doing this week. By the way, that's the ladies with AFP- Montana in the photo above if any of you in Missoula are looking to volunteer and join them in the fight this Fall.

Here's a video from the field in Missoula Saturday:

By the way, when the Fusion Fights were at the Brick Breeden Field House, I had the honor of sitting with Terrill Bracken RIGHT NEXT TO THE OCTAGON. Here's a little look at what it's like being that close. What I can say is this- the fights are great to watch no matter where your seat is...but when you sit next to the octagon or in one of the up close VIP tables- you FEEL the fights. You can hear the smack when the leg kicks hit the gut. You hear the poof of the boxing gloves. You see the tap out as the call is made.

As someone who woke up at zero dark thirty overseas in places like Iraq and Afghanistan to watch the UFC fights with our fellow soldiers, it is so cool to watch these fighters up close and personal.

Oh, and if you're wondering how a nerd like me scored that UFC t-shirt...here you go.

Montana Crew at UFC 300 in Las Vegas with Anthem Snacks

A crew of Montanans tagged along with Anthem Snacks, the official jerky of UFC, to attend UFC 300. We also got to get an inside look at UFC's Performance Institute facility.
