It was the burger we needed to have in Great Falls, Montana. I heard about Roadhouse Diner in Great Falls thanks to Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter's podcast. Then, Bare Knuckle Fight champion "King Kai" Stewart and his Coach Dave Evans confirmed it- you gotta get a Roadhouse burger.

Earlier this week, I told you about "King Kai's" massive Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship victory over the hometown Miami boy. I got to see King Kai and his coach Dave Evans in Great Falls Wednesday morning.

Tara Beam with the Roadhouse Diner also dropped in. And- I got to hear about some of the cool guns and gear at Highwood Creek Outfitters from Tom Van Hoose.

I asked Tara which burger I should try. She recommended either the Winchester, or "Death by Bacon." I figured since I was doing my show from a gun shop and indoor shooting range, I better go for the Winchester. As the knight in that Indiana Jones movie would tell you, I chose wisely. What a burger.

Tara Beam told us what makes their burgers so good. It's the Montana beef. They get their beef from the McCafferty Ranch in Belt, MT. "We hand-patty all of our burgers in-house every few hours!"

Tara Beam: The ranch itself is 30 minutes away from Great Falls. So our beef is fresh, never frozen. And that juiciness that you get from it, Montana heartiness right there. And then our buns, we use Montana wheat. So Great Harvest actually bakes them everyday fresh for us. So we use the Montana with them, and oh my gosh, when you put together a homemade bun with a burger that has never been frozen...

Here's a photo of my Winchester burger. And yes- we were giving out $24 gift cards thanks to Americans for Prosperity-Montana.
